About Us
We cater for both short and long-term boarding for cats and dogs. We welcome day boarders also, giving you opportunity for that round of golf or a day’s shopping in town. But what’s important, is that your dog is left in experienced hands, in a pretty environment, and looked after properly.
Understanding Dogs
At Bonnybank we understand dogs, and so we’re able to manage the way the dogs interact together making the experience pleasurable; it’s this that makes for a happy stay and a holiday for your pet. What’s more, we do all the walking ourselves and get to know the dogs on a one-to one basis.
Young & Old Dogs
Here at Bonnybank we welcome young puppies for their first-time kennel experience.
Many clients are apprehensive about leaving their new puppy in kennels, and quite rightly so. All new puppies and young dogs are gently nurtured into the kennel environment to allow them to settle and gain some confidence.

Running a boarding kennels is never easy: it requires commitment. That commitment is part of the service we give and helps us to maintain a very high standard of care – the care you expect when you leave your treasured pets with us. We understand that your pet is a very special member of your family, and thus requires love, attention, Here at Bonnybank, commitment never wanes; we are meticulous with our cleaning, feeding, exercise, and welfare methods that guarantee that your cat or dog is happy, well looked-after on a one-to-one basis; so much so, that the majority of our clients are repeat customers and recommendations. We fill up very quickly, making early booking strongly advisable.
We are constantly seeking to improve our service and to maintain a happy relationship with both our boarding friends and their owners. The best part about it all is that we enjoy it and have made a lot of friends with the animals and their owners. And, as you’d expect, we’re fully licensed, insured by PET PLAN.
Cattery
Our cattery is located over the Water of Coyle at the opposite side of the garden to the dog kennel block and is accessed by our bridge over the burn.
Vaccinations
All pets must be fully vaccinated before admission to the kennels or cattery, including the Kennel Cough vaccine for dogs.
Collection & Drop Off
We offer a collection and delivery service. Please phone for charges if you require this service.

Bonnybank is situated in the lovely Ayrshire countryside with the kennels and cattery overlooking gardens and The Water of Coyle
